TIDES TBI is the flagship program of NSTEDB, DST to promote technology based startup ideas. Applications for admission to TBI program can be made by individual innovators but the innovators/founders must ensure that a legal entity company is registered within a period of three months from the date of approval of the application for incubation in TIDES.

TIDES Technology Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development Society at IIT Roorkee is a state-of-the-art incubator engaged in accelerated incubation, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and commercialization. The world-class bio-incubator facility at TIDES has been supported by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Government of India, for providing a platform to facilitate unique ideas and technologies with the infrastructure, expertise, and experience available with the facility and alumni of IIT Roorkee, it is the country’s leading incubation system for nurturing ideas into commercially viable products. Recently, the Bio-NEST facility was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Manish Diwan (Head- Strategic Partnership & Entrepreneurship Development, BIRAC), Prof. Ajit Chaturvedi (Director, IIT Roorkee).
