ELIGIBILITY:

• The Applicant should be a citizen of India. Startups working in the field of MedTech and/or Biotechnology.

• Applicant should have completed undergraduate degree programme in science/engineering (or) last year student but shouldn’t be seeking placement.

• Essential qualification is PhD/ MTech/ BTech/ BPharm/ MD/ MBBS/ BDS/ MSc/ BSc/ MPhil/ MDes. / BCA/ MBA/ MCA and equivalents, with undergraduate training in Science, Medicine, and Engineering.

• The applicant shouldn’t have a source of income.

• Should be committed to exploring a business idea.

• Innovators under the age of 35.

• The applicant should not be the promoter or shareholder/beneficiary of another company.

• If the Applicant raises funding or investments for their business ideas/ potential start-ups, the grant support shall be discontinued.​​​​​​​

PREFERENCES FOR:

• Women entrepreneurs.

• Innovators under the age of 35.

• Business plan that can result in manufacturing and better jobs creation.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT:

• 4 EiR fellowship of ₹ 4 Lakh for 1 year may be provided to any applicant having an idea, who then start working for validation and development of an idea.
